CREEPY CLOWN SIGHTINGS

For the second year in a row, there has been a wave of creepy clown sightings across Forrest City. These rogue clowns have reportedly lurked on the side of roadways, tried to lure women and children into the woods, and chased people with knives and machetes. A rash of similar incidents occurred around this same time last year.

This year, there have been over twenty new reports of such bizarre encounters with clowns by Forrest City residents. The sightings began again this year in late August when children in Forrest City reported seeing a clown in the woods to the north of town. While all of the sightings last year involved male clowns, this year there have been several reports of a tall, slender female clown.

While many believe that the current clown panic is nothing more than a case of mass hysteria, the Forrest City Police Department encourages residents to remain cautious and alert. Some have speculated that the sightings are nothing more than a publicity stunt by the Riot Brothers Circus to promote their FREAK SHOW Halloween production.

"We have nothing to do with it," said Riot Brothers co-founder Johnny Riot. "Besides, after last year's serial murders, demand for tickets to this year's FREAK SHOW went through the roof. We sold out for all dates within four hours of releasing tickets for sale."
